Get to Know Terry O’Prey, Managing Director of Non-Qualified Services

Optimistic, innovative, determined – these are the three words Terry O’Prey, Managing Director of Non-Qualified Services at Newcleus, uses to describe himself.

We’ve decided to give you a little insight into the team at Newcleus and thought you’d enjoy knowing more about the people who make up One Newcleus.

Today, meet Terry O’Prey, who joined our leadership team this year to enhance and strengthen our capabilities in non-qualified plan services by leveraging proprietary technology and systems for clients and strategic advisors.

O’Prey’s impressive 25-year career includes working with top-ranked executive benefits consulting and administration companies. He provided privately held and publicly traded banks and companies with the highest level of service in the design, financing, implementation and administration of their employee and executive benefit plans.

 With years of experience in all facets of non-qualified plan consulting, funding optimization and plan administration, O’Prey brings a lot to the table.

 An avid golfer, O’Prey played varsity golf at De La Salle High School in Concord, California and at the University of California, Davis, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in managerial economics.

When asked about how he felt about joining the team, O’Prey said, “I am grateful and beyond excited to join Newcleus. I believe we have the foundation needed to deliver uncommon growth and success because of the innovative and entrepreneurial mindset of our ONE Newcleus team!”

We’re just as excited to watch O’Prey create thoughtful customized executive retirement plans to help our clients attract, engage, retain and eventually provide lifetime income to their best employees.

In addition to his role with Newcleus, Terry currently serves on the Board of Feeding The Hungry of the Palm Beaches. There, he volunteers his time and expertise to revolutionize how impoverished communities can lift themselves up when provided the appropriate resources and education. Their mission? “Educate and Liberate.”
