Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club Receives a $1000 NewcleusGives Donation on Behalf of California Credit Union and Newcleus Credit Union Advisors
Los Angeles Boys & Girls, whose mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially youth from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring members of the community, receives a $1000 NewcleusGives Donation from Newcleus Credit Union Advisors on behalf of Diane Madison-Jammal, SVP Chief Innovation Officer of California Credit Union.
Newcleus Credit Union Advisors Director, Tedd Meyer, presented the check won by California Credit Union at REACH2021 held at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in November.
In the past five years, California Credit Union has invested more than $2 million, have awarded 270 teacher grants awarded to fund innovative class projects, provided $355,000 in college scholarships to local students and have established military, school and community partnerships.
The Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club values providing quality educational and recreational experiences to all young people and ensuring these services are accessible. Their three priority outcome areas are:
- Academic Success
- Healthy Lifestyles
- Good Character and Leadership
For over 70 years, the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club (The Club) has accomplished this goal by providing a safe place for children to call their own during non-school hours.
Newcleus is honored to support the charitable efforts of California Credit Union and the great work of the Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club.
Here at Newcleus, we care about our local communities. We’ve created a CSR program called NewcleusGives to reflect our passion for philanthropy and assist our partners in creating impactful CSR programs of their own. Through this initiative, we have developed opportunities for team volunteer time, a workplace giving program as well as a gift matching program.
