Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Chamber of Commerce Receives a $500 Donation

Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Chamber of Commerce receives a $500 donation from Newcleus Compensation Advisors: Last month Newcleus Bank Advisors, JR Llewellyn and Charlie Hicks, attended the Community Bankers Association of Georgia Annual Conference where they raffled off a $500 charity check. We are proud to announce that the winner of the raffle was the Community Banking Company of Fitzgerald. The Bank’s Executive Vice President, Debra Weil, gifted the check to the Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Chamber of Commerce. This nonprofit organization supports its community in a multitude of ways. Most notably, for every $100 spent in a locally owned independent business, $68 is returned back into your local community in the form of wages, local taxes, and donations.

All of us at Newcleus could not be more honored than to know our raffle has gone to such a great organization.

More About the Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Chamber of Commerce

This non-profit “is the community’s hub for business activity. Whether they’re hosting a corporate executive in town to make an important decision, opening up their conference room for one of their existing industries, or sitting down with of their many small business owners, you will find that they pride themselves on service beyond self and ensuring that your decision to conduct business in Fitzgerald is the right decision.”

“When you shop locally, you help create jobs locally.  Shopping local helps to nurture your community.  Studies have shown that local businesses donate to community causes more than twice the rate of chain stores.  Locally owned businesses carry a wider variety of unique products to cater to the needs and wants of the local community.  When you buy from a local business, you help to conserve energy and resources in the form of less fuel for transportation and less packaging.  Let’s Love Where We Live!  Shop Local!”
