Wounded Warrior Project Receives $5,000 Donation

Wounded Warrior Project receives $5000 donation: We are proud to share this story as we return from a National Day of Observance honoring those who’ve given the ultimate sacrifice to our country. BFS-MC Group raffled off a $5,000.00 charity check at the 2019 ICBA Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, and the winner, Marketing Director Cindy Rogers of Homeland Community Bank, chose Wounded Warrior Project as the recipient charity.

Last Monday, Meyer-Chatfield Senior Managing Directors Charlie Hicks and Tom Molteni proudly delivered the check to Homeland Community Bank for Cindy to present to WWP Outreach Specialist, Anthony Perry.

All of us at BFS-MC Group could not be more honored than to know our raffle has gone to such a great organization. Thank you, Cindy, for choosing Wounded Warrior Project. And thank you, WWP, for your service to Veterans and service members who’ve incurred injury or illness while serving our country.

More about Wounded Warrior Project:

WWP was founded in 2003, in Roanoke, Virginia by a group of veterans and friends who took action to help the injured service men and women of this generation. (Veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001). The WWP mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors who incurred a physical or mental injury, illnesses, or wound, co-incident to your military service on or after September 11, 2001. You may also be eligible for the program if you are the family member or caregiver of a Wounded Warrior.
